Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Traveler

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@sapphiresiamholidays.com. The cancellation date is the date we receive your written request. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

⚠️ Note: Cancellation charges from hotels, airlines, and other service providers may differ from the above and will be passed on to the traveler. Non-refundable bookings (promotional rates, advance purchase hotels) cannot be refunded regardless of notice period.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days of cancellation confirmation
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method
  • Bank transfer charges, if any, are borne by the traveler
  • Razorpay payment gateway fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
  • Refund timelines may vary based on bank processing times

Modifications and Changes

Changes to confirmed bookings (date changes, hotel upgrades, activity additions) are subject to availability and additional charges based on prevailing rates. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

Cancellation by SSH

In the rare event that SSH cancels a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure, natural disaster, political unrest), we will:

  • Notify you at the earliest possible opportunity
  • Offer alternative travel dates or a full refund of amounts paid to SSH
  • Assist with third-party (airline, insurance) claim processes

SSH is not liable for losses beyond the package amount, including non-refundable flight tickets or other independently booked services.

Force Majeure

SSH is not liable for cancellations or curtailments caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, strikes, war, or civil unrest. We will endeavor to provide the best possible assistance in such situations.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions. Travel insurance provides financial protection in situations where our cancellation policy applies and can cover losses from events outside both your and our control.
